YbaK has weak in vitro deacylase activity against Gly-, Ala-, Ser- Pro- and Met-tRNAs. YbaK is homologous to YeaK and an insertion domain in ProS. ybaK is a non-essential gene; YbaK is a low abundance protein. otherPDB (H. influenzae): 1DBU, 1DBX.[4]
