The first 22 aa are predicted to be a type I signal peptide. YgjK binds glucose, mannose, and galactose and hydrolyzes nigerose, trehalose and maltooligosaccharides, with low activities (Kurakata, 2008). Glycoside hydrolase family 63.[4]
