∆bipA::kan

Growth Phenotype

MG1655 ∆bipA::kan doesn't form isolated colonies on LB medium at 20°C (plates were incubated for 4 days). In liquid LB medium, the mutant grows more slowly than the bipA+ parent strain.

PMID:11683274[6]

The growth phenotypes were complemented by a plasmid clone of bipA.
