Notes

Biofilm microarray result was validated with RT-PCR. MalE binds maltose and maltodextrin and mediates chemotaxis through the Tar chemoreceptor. MalT regulon. creBC regulon.Alkali-inducible. Upregulated in biofilms. Downregulated during cold-shock in a pnp-dependent way. Binds TrxA (Kumar, 2004).[4]
