Notes

REL606 is an Escherichia coli B strain. The sequence is available from GenBank NC_012967 and was obtained by the International E. coli B Consortium. REL606 is a commonly used strain in evolution experiments.

The lineage of REL606 has been described.[4]

The E. coli B REL606 proteome has been analyzed using experimental and computational methods.[5]
