Notes

W1485[1] -> BD792[2] [=W4185 F-] -> BW13635[3] [= BD792 proC677(tetR)::Tn5-132] -> BW13711 [=BD792 proC+ lacX74(del)][4]

BD792 is an F- derivative of W1485, cured with acridine orange.[5]

  • DE(codB-lacI)3 is also known as lacX74 CGSC.
  • The rpo396(Am) mutation was reported to be present in W1485 by Visick and Clarke (1997) [6], but it is not certain whether it is present in other stocks of W1485.[1]
