Porteco is a custom skin made for EcoliWiki. Future development for this project will be done using Porteco.  The Porteco skin provides the common Porteco banner, and navigation links.
As of June 1, 2013, the search box in Porteco doesn't work quite as well as the search box in Vector; the option to search for pages containing a string is missing.

How to customize appearance by setting the Appearance preference

Registered users can alter the overall appearance of EcoliWiki by changing their Preferences. Users who are not logged in will get the Porteco skin by default.
