Notes

Trg senses ribose and galactose indirectly through their periplasmic binding proteins. Trg is a low-abundance chemoreceptor, 5- 10-fold lower than Tar and Tsr. Trg can function as a warm receptor during thermotaxis. Trg senses low pH as an attractant and phenol as a repellent.[4]
