Notes

This vector is used for recovering fusions from single copy. pRS308 will yield a recombinant plasmid whose basic structure is identical to the plasmid used to transfer the fusion on to the phage in the beginning, except for the desired mutations.[1] pRS308- carries a deletion, T1 terminators and proximal two-thirds of the LacZ gene of pRS415, of sequence the unique EcoRI and SacI sites in pNK678 and retains the bla gene and the portion of the lac operon distal to the SacI site. [1]
