Notes

First 24 aa are a predicted type II signal peptide. YjfO is the only one of ten YhcN paralogs that is predicted to have a type II signal peptide; the others have type I signals predicted or verified.[4]

BsmA (YjfO) is a member of the YhcN_Family of paralogs.[5]
