YhcN Family

From EcoliWiki
Jump to: navigation, search

There are 8 E. coli K-12 paralogs of YhcN: YkgI, YahO, YbiJ, BhsA (YcfR), YdgH, YjfN, YjfO, and YjfI.[1] YjfO is predicted to be a lipoprotein. The other family members, except for YjfI, are predicted by SignalP to be located in the periplasm.

Pfam includes these 9 E. coli K-12 proteins and 1 other (YbiM) in Pfam family PF07338. The region of each protein that contains DUF1471 (PF07338) is shown in the table below (generated from Pfam vers. 23.0). YdgH has 3 copies of the domain.
