Notes
AaeAB also exports related aromatic carboxylic acids. The aaeA gene is paralogous to ydhJ. Mutants in aaeA(yhcQ) have antibiotic-sensitve biofilms, and may be down-regulated in hepA(rapA) mutants which have a similar phenotype (Lynch, 2007).[4]
