Mistake in reference list for PMID:12654000
Schwöppe et al. (2003) cite ref. 26 for the method used to isolate cytoplasmic membranes. This is the wrong citation. I think the authors meant to cite a different Alexeyev and Winkler paper that was also published in 1999 (Biochim Biophys Acta. 1999 Jul 15;1419(2):299-306, PMID:10407080).
Note that the method described would isolate both the inner and outer membranes of E. coli.
