Confusion about molR
It seems that this is a functional gene in the B strains, but is considered a psuedogene in K-12. [1] It has been interrupted twice in MG1655 leading to three ORFs (molR_1, molR_2, molR_3.) Do these three ORFs code for products? is there a phenotype?
- It looks like we are missing the other two segments in the wiki. I think, in the spirit of the pangenome, we should use the uninterrupted form for the wiki page. --JimHu 17:21, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
