Pcm may work with SurE: they are co-transcribed and have addictive effects on isoaspartyl accumulation during stationary phase. Pcm was originally thought to be required for stationary phase and heat-stress survival, but this was due to a secondary rpoS mutation. otherPDB (P. furiosus): 1JG1.[1]
