We are pleased to announce the release of ToxoDB 8.2
New data in this release: Toxoplasma gondii ME49 Aligned End-Sequenced Fosmids
The Toxoplasma gondii RH fosmid library was constructed by Sumiti Vinayak in the copy control vector pCC2FOS. Fosmid ends were sequenced commercially (Sanger method) using vector specific primers. Resulting sequences were aligned to the T. gondii ME49 genome using BLAST. Funds for sequencing were provided by Boris Striepen (University of Georgia, Athens, GA, USA), Markus Meissner (University of Glasgow, Scotland) and Michael White (University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, USA). |
