ECK2663, b2669, JW2644, hnsB, rsv[1], rsv

Product Desc.

H-NS-like DNA-binding protein with RNA chaperone activity[2][3]

RNA chaperone and DNA-binding protein; suppresses T4 td mutant[4]; modulates micF stability; forms heteromers with, and stabilzed against proteolysis by, the paralogous H-NS protein; transcriptionally repressed by H-NS[5]

Product Synonyms(s)

Notes

Nucleoid-associated protein.

StpA binds preferably unstructured RNA weakly, with mainly electrostatic interactions that promote RNA folding (Mayer et al. 2007).[5]
