Notes
RutR is also the global regulator of a pyrimidine metabolism regulon (Shimada, 2007). TetR family. NtrC regulon. The rut operon is required for the utilization of thymidine, uridine and cytidine as nitrogen sources at 37C, but not at room temperature.[4]
