pGPS1.1 is used as a trasposon donor in the GPS-1 Genome Priming System offered by NEB. TnsABC transposase removes the Tn7-based Transprimer element from pGPS1.1 and inserts it randomly into a trarget DNA molecule in vitro. pGPS1.1 is isolated from E. coli BW 23474, a strain that expresses the pir-116 replication factor (4).
