This vector is one of two vectors, designed for expressing N-terminal, HisGln (HQ) metal-binding peptide fusion proteins in bacteria and in vitro protein expression systems. It contains a HQ tag that is used to purify protein expression using the MagneHis™, MagZ™, HisLink™ 96 or HisLink™ Protein Purification Systems. This vector is designed specifically for bacterial or in vitro protein putification through the T7 RNA polymerase promoter. Compared to pFN6K (HQ), this vector is ampicilin resistance. In addition, it functions in protein purification via a metal affinity resin.
