The pFN10A (ACT) vector is designed to enable confirmation, validation and analysis of supposed interactions between two proteins or domains. This vector possesses the barnase gene, a lethal gene resulting in positive selection for insert ligation, as it is replaced by the DNA fragment of interest. This Flexi vector also expresses the Renilla reniformis luciferase inder the conrol of the SV40 promoter, enabling normalization for variation in transfection efficiency.
