Notes

This vector is one of two vectors designed specifically for in vitro expression of native protein in wheat germ extracts. The Wheat Germ Extrast Plus is a single tube protein, and is proved highly efficient in it's function. There are tRNA, ribosomes, amino acids initiation factos, elongation factors and termination factors that play a role in protein synthesis. In addition, potassium acetate is added at certain concentrations to enhance the translation of a wide range of RNA's. The addition of an mRNA template and incubation of the reaction initiates the protein synthesis reaction. This vector contains sequences from barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) and RNA plant virus located both downstream and upstream of the protein coding region of interest.
