pET161-GW/CAT (6518 bp) is a control vector containing the chloramphenicol acetyltransferase (CAT) gene and was constructed using the Gateway LR recombination reaction between an entry clone containing the CAT gene and pET161-DEST. CAT is expressed as a fusion to the Lumio tag.

The molecular weight of the CAT fusion protein is approximately 32 kDa.
