pCMV-Gluc is isolated from E. coli strain ER2272 by a standard DNA purification procedure. Lysis of the cells is not necessary before assaying activity because it is naturally secreted.

History

A standard DNA purification procedure is used to derive pCMV-GLuc from E. coli strain ER2272.
