The pBAC-2cp Ek/LIC vector is an Ek/LIC version of pBAC-2cp. Ligation-independent cloning (LIC) was developed for directional cloning of PCR products without restriction enzyme digestion or ligation reactions[1][2]. The pBAC-2cp Ek/LIC vector is a baculovirus transfer plasmid designed for simplified cloning and expression of target genes in insect cells. A Ligation-Independent Cloning (LIC) version of the vector is available for rapid, directional cloning of PCR products adjacent to the enterokinase cleavage site.
