Notes
LptB depletion results in rifampicin/bile salts sensitivity, indicative of an outer membrane integrity defect. Reported to be essential based on depletion of ara-controlled expression (Sperandeo, 2006), however Baba, 2006, constructed a viable deletion strain. Binds TrxA (Kumar, 2004). RpoE regulon.[4]
