Notes
BasR is the cognate response regulator of the BasSR two-component system. The BasSR regulon has been primarily characterized in Salmonella; unlike E. coli, Salmonella also activates PmrAB(BasSR) in low Mg(2+), mediated by PhoPQ and the PmrD protein.[2]
