Short Description

GLAM2 is a program in the MEME software suite, which can be used for finding composite or dyad motifs. GLAM2 can be used to find motif in either nucleotide or amino acid sequences, the user must tell GLAM2 which alphabet to use as it does not have either as a default.

GLAM2 (Gapped Local Alignment of Motifs) is built off of GLAM (Gapless Local Alignment of Multiple sequences), but has clearly moved away from its parent's tree in that is is focused on finding gapped alignments.
