About Eukaryotic Pathogen Database Resources (EuPathDB)

Home Page for EuPathDB

The Eukaryotic Pathogen Database Resources (EuPathDB) is the portal database for eukaryotic pathogen genomic databases. EuPathDB is one of four bioinformatics resource centers (BRC). As of November 2009, members of EuPathDB include CryptoDB (functional genomic resource for Cryptosporidium parasites), GiardiaDB (functional genomic resource for Giardia parasites), PlasmoDB (functional genomic resource for Plasmodium parasites), ToxoDB (functional genomic resource for Toxoplasma and "Neospora" parasites), TriTrypDB (functional genomic resource for Trypanosomatid parasites) and TrichDB (functional genomic resource for Trichomonas parasites). The EuPathDB BRC is a National Institutes of Health funded project, with additional funding for the TriTrypDB component coming from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.
