Comments (originally from EcoCyc[1]) Based on: 1) microarray analysis at the onset of the stationary phase in Escherichia coli grown in rich medium, 2) primer extension and 3) sequence analysis, two transcription initiation start site for ybgA were determined by [3][3]. However, the length of the each transcription unit is not mentioned. Absolute positions +1 of the transcription start sites are: 738203, corresponding to ybgAp1 and 738143, corresponding to ybgAp2.
