Comments (originally from EcoCyc[1][2]) Conceivably, genF (dcuB) and fumB are both expressed from an FNR-regulated promoter situated upstream of genF.Fumarate and TMAO increase fumB expression under anaerobiosis, while nitrate and changes of the DNA superhelicity decrease its expression.
