Comments (originally from EcoCyc[1][2]) The holo-ACP synthase enzyme transfers the 4-phosphopantetheine moeity of CoA to the apo-ACP to form holo-ACP, which is the active form of the carrier in lipid synthesis [3][4][5][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][6][6][6][12][6][12][13][13][12][13][12][5].
