About
Description (originally from EcoCyc[1][2]) dihydrodipicolinate reductase
Comments (originally from EcoCyc[1][2]) A carbon-carbon double bond is reduced by pyridine nucleotide. Tritium from reduced NADP was transferred directly to the substrate without exchanging with the protons of the medium. [3] The reaction is inhibited by phosphate ions.
