Description (originally from EcoCyc[1]) carbonic anhydrase
Description (originally from EcoCyc[2]) carbonic anhydrase 1
Comments (originally from EcoCyc[1]) The product of the cynT gene was originally thought to be a cyanate permease. It has now been established that the gene product is actually a carbonate dehydratase. The enzyme binds one mole of zinc per subunit. [3][4]
