About

Comments (originally from EcoCyc[1][2]) The enzyme carries out reactions in in the pathways of both the biosynthesis of isoleucine and of valine. Dihydroxy-acid dehydratase contains a [4Fe-4S] cluster which is essential for catalysis and unstable in the presence of O2 and O(-)2. [3]
