About ArrayExpress
ArrayExpress is the EBI repository for gene expression data, especially microarray data.
Content
ArrayExpress contains array data that was directly uploaded, as well as data extracted from GEO.
Using ArrayExpress
Browsing and Searching
The ArrayExpress home page shows a limited list of supported browsers, but seems to work in others. The home page redirects to the ArrayExpress entry page shown at right. A series of pulldown menus allows the user to select only data sets based on
- Species - the species pulldowns have both Escherichia coli and Escherichia coli K-12.
- Experiment type
- Experimental factors
- Publication - which journal was the data published in.
- Protocol
In addition, there are specific form fields for other attributes.
