Buddelmeijer, N and Beckwith, J (2002) Assembly of cell division proteins at the E. coli cell center.Curr. Opin. Microbiol. 5:553-7
| Abstract | Cell division in Escherichia coli requires the coordinated action of at least ten proteins. In recent years, substantial progress has been made in understanding the assembly of these proteins at the cell septum. These findings suggest a largely stepwise appearance of cell division proteins at the centre of the cell. |
