what I did
created the table: small spaces in IE7. Big in FF.Differences in HTML: FF: {{Prettytable}} align='left'><tr><th >Replace these lines</th>
while IE HTML did not have this.

Changed names of columns to Gwen is Cool.
This made the text area bigger, though not nearly as large as in FF:
{{Prettytable}} align='left'><tr><th >Gwen</th>
becomes the code now.
chnaged names of columns to Gwen is writing || is || cool
This made the text area the small size on IE again. big on FF.
