Notes

YggI was named SprT and described as a regulator of the bolA gene in stationary phase in GenBank D83644: R. Utsumi and T. Suzuki, unpublished, 1996. YggI appears to have a conserved Zn-binding domain (PROSITE: PS00142) found in many metalloproteases.[4]
