Notes

RF3 exits in two conformational states, state 1 which is a pre-translocation complex with a P-site tRNA and a pre-bound RF3 (inactive) while state 2 is a post-translocation conformation with RF3 tightly bound to the GTPase centre and the tRNA at the exit site. RF-3 is a class 2 RF, and a G-protein.[4]
