Notes
The N-terminus of overexpressed Mrr was determined, but the native RBS was not used. The initial Met was not clipped. although unVerified, this start is almost certainly correct. Mrr is normally cryptic, but is activated by high pressure stress, which leads to a recB-dependent SOS pathway activation.[4]
