Notes
ClpS is involved in degradation of N-end rule substrates by the ClpAP protease[5][6]
ClpS is needed for the degradation of N-end rule substrates by ClpAP. clpS is a non-essential gene. ClpS is homologous to eukaryotic E3 ubiquitin ligase n-recognin (Lupas, 2003).[4]
