Notes from EcoGene

YhaO is a member of the Hydroxy/Aromatic Amino Acid Permease (HAAAP) family.

Transcription is upregulated by S-nitrosoglutathione in defined medium.[5]

Translation of the yhaO mRNA is activated the FNR-regulated FnrS sRNA.[6]
